My newborn photographic style embodies real moments that tell the story of the newest member to your family’s. With an eye for special and authentic moments I can capture newborn, maternity and family photos that are unique, beautiful and emotional.
When is the best time
The best Time to photograph your new baby is from day five to day 14 after they are born. At this early stage baby tend to be sleepier and retain that newborn curl.
Feeding your baby
To get the most from your session, it is best to feed baby when you arrive s baby can fall into a deep sleep. Once you arrive I will take care of your baby and you can sit back relax and enjoy the experience
During your session
As soon as baby is happy and sleepy we can get started. During your session I will pose and handle you baby with the utmost care There is no need to worry if you are not feeling 100 per cent yet I will swaddle and ensure baby is kept happy.
Soothers.Some parents choose not to introduce on and we totally respect your choice .sometimes having a soother by hand and using it just for a few minutes to settle baby while being photographed can make or brake a session .If you could please bring one with you.
Can we have Sibling and Parent portraits
When daddy and siblings are present I will do my best to get a family portrait as well as parent and baby and sibling portraits. These images are usually taken at the beginning of the session.
Good to know
Our Studio is kept really warm for your baby to feel comfortable without or with little clothes.Sometimes we get little accidents during the session it can get parents clothes and blankets it would be a good idea to bring spares .
Your newborn session will last approx 2 and a half hours This ensures we have enough time to pose and take breaks for feeding.
Booking before baby arrives
At booking stage I will set you session for your due date .Once baby arrives simply give me a call we will select and confirm a date for you session within the first 5 to 14 days.
